Dear colleagues,
We have the great pleasure to invite you to the XXVth COSAC which is to be held in Brussels on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 October 2001 in the hemicycle of the House of Representatives.
Following the Tro�ka meeting in Brussels on 6 July 2001, please find enclosed the COSAC draft program together with a registration form for the conference and a hotel reservation form.
The day before the conference i.e. on Wednesday 3 October 2001 at 7.30 p.m., you are cordially invited to visit the instrumental museum in Brussels. This visit will be followed by a walking dinner.
A finalised programme of events will be sent to you at the beginning of September once we have confirmation of the availability of the members of the Belgian governement who have been asked to participate. A working document with regard to the Conference themes will also be sent to you as well as some practical information about the Conference.
You will also find enclosed a note on the methods of tabling and examining the possible draft contributions.
We would also like to inform you that according to point 4 of the contribution adopted by the XXIVth COSAC in Stockholm, it was envisaged during the Tro�ka meeting to convene the COSAC working group (article 1.5 of the rules of procedure) under the Belgian presidency. The date proposed by the Tro�ka is Monday 26 November 2001 in the Belgian Parliament in Brussels.
